Sealed with four coats of food-grade mineral oil and four coats of high-quality food-grade wood conditioner that includes beeswax and other natural waxes.
As with any handcrafted natural wood piece, our trays may bow, cup, or develop small cracks over time, especially if not properly maintained. Coating with a good mineral oil and wood conditioner will greatly extend the life of your tray.
This serving tray is NOT intended for use as a cutting board.
To maintain the beauty of your serving tray for years to come:
- Do not soak or submerge in water.
- Do not wash in the dishwasher.
- Hand wash with hot soapy water.
- Dry immediately with a dishtowel then allow to air dry.
- Condition as needed with a food-grade beeswax and mineral oil conditioner.
